Pick the right tool for the job.

These plugins overlap, and each is good at something. Report Studio is built for recurring reports on custom data: a saved report that follows relationships and repeaters, re-runs on current data, emails itself on a schedule, and can make a bulk change you can undo. Here is what each product documents, with a source for every cell.

Checked against each vendor’s own pages on October 3, 2026. “Not documented” means we couldn’t find it on their site, not that the product can’t do it; tell us if we missed something and we’ll fix the cell. List prices before tax; several vendors show time-limited discounts, and license terms differ. Field Porter, GravityExport and others are covered in our full notes. Report Studio’s Pro features are marked; checkout opens after the beta.

What each one is built for

WP All Export

Moving WordPress data out: visual column mapping, filters, CSV / XML / Excel, and integrations with other systems.

A good fit when you need exports mapped to a specific file format or another system, or you already use WP All Import.

Admin Columns Pro

Admin list screens: custom columns, filtering, inline and bulk editing, and totals inside WordPress lists.

A good fit when your team works in the WordPress list screens day to day and wants them richer.

wpDataTables

Interactive tables and charts from your database, published on the front end, with editing and a developer API.

A good fit when you need charts or tables that visitors or clients explore on the site.

WP Sheet Editor

Editing posts, products and custom fields in a spreadsheet view, with imports, exports and AI content generation.

A good fit when the job is editing lots of records by hand, spreadsheet-style.

WP Data Access

Database tools: a SQL query builder with AI help, data apps, and scheduled query results by email.

A good fit when you’re comfortable with SQL and want to query tables directly.

Report Studio

Saved reports on custom fields, inside wp-admin: relationships and repeaters, scheduled email, and bulk changes with Undo.

A good fit when the same report has to be run, sent or acted on every week.

Three jobs to test any of them on

Here’s what Report Studio produces on our sample real-estate data, limits included. Run the same jobs in whatever you’re comparing and compare the setup and resulting rows.

  1. Job 1

One report across a relationship chain and a repeater

    The job
Every listing with its agent’s name, the agent’s office city and each feature — data spread across ACF, Meta Box and a Pods custom table.
    Result
All 60 listings in 143 rows — one per feature, and Land listings with no features shown with blank cells — with names (not IDs) for every agent and a city for every office; the same rows in CSV and XLSX.
    Limits
A repeater shows its entries in one cell by default; the Layout menu gives each entry its own row, as here, and decides whether posts with no entries are kept. Relationship and repeater columns are Pro.
  2. Job 2

    A weekly report by email

    The job
Email the sold listings to two people every Monday at 9:00, and make it obvious when it doesn’t arrive.
    Result
Both recipients get the CSV (header + 18 rows). A failed send shows on the schedule as a failure with the reason, and fires a hook your site can alert on.
    Limits
Delivery is email via your site’s mail and WP-Cron. No automatic retry yet: the next scheduled run tries again.
  3. Job 3

A filtered bulk change you can undo

    The job
Take every pending listing off the site — selected by a Meta Box field — and be able to put them back.
    Result
12 listings to Draft, nothing else touched, each checked against the user’s permissions; Undo puts them back and the history reads “Undone”.
    Limits
Undo skips any post edited after the bulk change and tells you how many. Available for 30 days.

The free plan covers flat fields, filters, the report viewer and CSV export. Relationships, repeaters, XLSX, schedules and bulk actions are Pro. See pricing →
