Terms of Service

The short version

• WP Report Studio’s plugin code is licensed under GPL v2 or later.
• Pro plans cover license activations, updates and support for one site or unlimited sites.
• 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked.
• Your rights to copy, modify and redistribute GPL-covered code are governed by the GPL.

Software license and Pro services

The plugin code is distributed under GPL v2 or later. A Pro purchase provides license activations, updates and support for the number of sites in your plan. Annual plans renew each year; lifetime plans do not require annual renewal. Lifetime plans are offered during the founders’ launch window: the first 90 days after paid checkout opens, subject to availability. Closing the offer does not change existing lifetime purchases. Separately sold add-ons are not included in a base Pro plan.

“Lifetime” means updates and support for as long as WP Report Studio is maintained, including by a successor maintainer. It does not promise indefinite development or compatibility with future WordPress, PHP or third-party plugin releases. If the product is retired, the policy below applies.

The plugin includes its source code and a copy of the license. Read GPL v2 or later.

What we promise

• Compatibility requirements are listed in the plugin’s readme. Test updates on staging before applying them to a production site.
• While the product is maintained, we'll investigate reported bugs and prioritize security and data-loss issues.
• We'll honor the 30-day money-back guarantee with no friction. Email and we refund.
• We'll keep AI features BYOK — we won't suddenly route through our own paid proxy.
• We'll give 30 days notice before any pricing change to active subscribers (founders' customers keep their original renewal price for as long as the subscription stays active).

What we don't promise

• The plugin is provided "as is" with no warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. WordPress sites are unpredictable; AI-generated outputs are imperfect; data export is your responsibility to verify.
• We can't promise uptime for the plugin's optional online features (license validation, automatic update server) — those depend on Freemius, our third-party merchant of record.

Refunds

Email support@wpreportstudio.com within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Requests after 30 days are considered case by case. Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime via your Freemius account dashboard.

If the product is retired

If we decide to end maintenance, we will announce the retirement date at least 90 days in advance by email to customers and through a notice in the plugin. We will stop new sales and future subscription renewals, and continue support and critical maintenance through the notice period.

• Annual customers: we will provide the services covered by your plan through the end of your paid period, or refund the unused portion if those services end earlier. Canceling renewal does not cancel the period already paid for.
• Lifetime customers: updates and support end on the announced retirement date. You retain access to the final paid version for the number of sites in your plan.
• Continued use: retirement itself will not disable paid features in the final version. We will provide a way to download and save that version and your report definitions before services close. Future compatibility and third-party services are not guaranteed.
• Recent purchases: the 30-day money-back guarantee remains available, including purchases made within 30 days before the retirement announcement.

We will consider transferring maintenance to another developer before retiring the product. Your GPL rights and any rights required by applicable law remain unchanged. A later change to these terms will not remove commitments made when you purchased your plan.

Acceptable use

Use the plugin only with data you are authorized to access. You are responsible for who can view, export or receive reports from your site. These service terms do not limit rights granted by the GPL.

Changes

We can update these terms. If we do, we'll bump the "last updated" date above. Material changes get announced via email to active customers and a banner on this site.
